Hydrafin
Filter System
The
Hydrafin filter system features a saltwater resistant
Pacer Water Pump that services the system’s two
pressurized bag filter canisters. A three-way valve
allows mechanical filter servicing without shutting
down the systems pump. The 150 Watt High Output UV Sterilizer
is matched to the systems predetermined flow rate and
disinfects the water before returning to the exhibit
or livestock tanks. A Nema 4X rated watertight enclosure
houses the UV Sterilizer and water pump connections.
Included in the enclosure are a main power switch, lamp
hour meter and clear cover.

The
HydraFin Filter System is designed for re-circulating applications
requiring flow rates up to 130 gpm. The HydraFin System offers
commercial performance in a compact package. This efficient
filter system combines our pressurized bag filter canisters
with our high output 150 Watt UV Sterilizer . At a water flow
rate of 130 gpm the HydraFin mechanically filters your system’s
water down to as much as 1 micron (various micron filter bags
are available.) After the mechanical bag filters, water is then
treated by the systems “high output” UV Sterilizer.
The water flows through the UV Sterilizer at a predetermined
flow rate (UV radiation exposure rate) to eradicate common bacteria
and waterborne algae. The HydraFin Filter System is supplied
with a quality “saltwater resistant” water pump, which
provides the required water flow and matches the bag filter
and UV Sterilizer performance requirements. All filter components
are mounted on a durable plastic service platform.
