Up-Well Egg Incubator

Up-Well Egg Incubator

Our Up-Well Egg Incubators were designed for efficiency;
to reduce labor and produce healthy fry in a greater capacity. Up-Well Incubators virtually eliminate “dead flow” pockets … a leading contributor of fungal problems. The constant
up-flow water circulation of Up-well Incubators hold the eggs in constant suspension; virtually eliminating those troublesome stagnate areas; which are common with
“tray-style” incubators. Up-well Incubators also deliver comparable hatch rates to the tray incubators, but with far less labor and without chemical treatments! Removing troublesome dead eggs from up-well incubators is easy. The up-flow water circulation forces dead eggs to the surface where they are easily removed unlike the labor intensive tray-style incubators.

Our Egg Incubators are made of polycarbonate, ABS with PVC plumbing and are supplied with a gate valve for precise flow control.

Advantages:

• Up-Flow reduces labor of separating dead eggs, egg shells and debris

• Eliminates stagnate areas

• Up-flow water circulation holds eggs in suspension to prevent fungus from attaching to, and smothering fertile eggs.

• Easy to remove lid allows quick removal of dead eggs, egg shells and debris that float to the top of the incubator.

• Inlet gate valve allows for easy flow adjustments.

• Clear polycarbonate body allows for visual inspection of eggs.

• 20 Quart Capacity increases incubation/hatching capabilities.

Up-Welling Egg Incubators with UV
EA has combined our Up-Well Egg Incubators with UV to provide protection against harmful waterborne bacteria and fungus. Saprolegnia zoospores (fungi) require a UV exposure rate of 39,600 µWs/cm². We recommend a liberal UV exposure of 60,000 µWs/cm² when applying UV with incubators. You can purchase
the incubators and UV sterilizer separately or together on our 3 or 6 incubator and UV roll-around rack system.
