Pentair SuperFlo Pump
Each HydraPAK is operated by means of a high quality and energy efficient Pentair SuperFlo Pump (equipped with the high RPM motor required for effective filtering and backwashing).

SMART HO ML UV Sterilizer
SMART HO ML UVs feature a coated "L" type glass UV lamp that outperforms and outlasts all other germicidal lamps available, delivering an incredible 9,000 hours of continual use while retaining > 80% efficiency. The UV housing is designed to utilize the lamp's UV-C output to its maximum potential. SMART HO ML UVs are matched to the system's recirculating flow rate to provide a minimum UV dose of 30,000 µWs/cm² (waterborne algae/bacteria) of UV exposure.

Watertight Power Box
Each HydraPAK system features a mounted, watertight power box that supports both the pump and UV. This system includes seperate on/off switches for the pump and UV sterilizer.

Filter Lateral
Laterals are equipped with larger a slot, which increases circulation inside the filter. This provides greater filtering and backwash effectiveness, yet does not allow the media escape.

Increase filtering and backwash efficiency with our FilterClay Media. FilterClay is pure, organic clay, finely ground and granulated into specific sized pellets (4 – 8 mm). These are then baked at a high temperature inside a rotary kiln, without the addition of artificial additives, pesticides, or dyes. FilterClay Media weighs significantly less than sand and resists caking, creating a more effective filter bed. FilterClay is better suited for heavy solid waste applications (such as animal exhibits) and provides an exceptional environment for colonizing nitrifying bacteria.

Water Flow Safety Switch
Automatically shuts down the UV during "no flow" situations. A UV sterilizer water flow switch that protects the UV against over-heating during pump shut-down is also featured.

Plumbing
All plumbing is assembled by our factory technicians. All ports are union/socket for quick and easy connect/disconnect.
